Clueso just raised for the least glamorous AI problem: keeping the tutorial current
The YC-backed startup was nearly cash-flow positive, then raised anyway because enterprise video now wants to update itself.
AI is making companies ship faster, which is great right up until someone has to explain the new workflow to customers, sales, support, and the poor soul in compliance.
That is the wedge behind Clueso's $10 million Series A announcement, led by Dharana Capital. Inc42 reports that the round also included Founders Future, Neotribe Ventures, Y Combinator, and F7 Ventures, bringing total funding to about $12 million.
The amount matters less than the subtext. Clueso is not selling movie magic. It is selling relief from one of enterprise software's most annoying truths: every onboarding video, tutorial, launch clip, and internal training asset starts aging the moment product ships again. The company wants those videos to behave more like living docs, with agents recapturing workflows, updating scripts, and keeping the whole thing on brand.
Money desk detail, darling reader: Clueso says it has been cash-flow positive from close to the beginning. That makes this round look less like survival capital and more like a decision to press on the gas while buyers are already leaning in. It also says more than 80% of the capital came from investors who backed the company at seed, which is a cleaner signal than a brand-new cap table full of tourists.
Clueso claims more than 1,000 organizations use the product already, including Atlassian, GitLab, Zendesk, and Samsara. The bet here is that enterprise video stops being a one-off file and becomes infrastructure. If that sounds unsexy, congratulations, you understand where budgets actually come from.
